We view the spiritual war that is homosexuality through the lens of God’s inspired, inerrant Word – THE supreme source of truth that trumps all human feelings. Praise the Lord!

We contrast world cultures and world religions with the timeless, inspired, inerrant, Word of God. We discuss the fall of the American church. Interview includes tips on how to reach out to the LGBTQ with the saving, life-changing full counsel of God.

We discuss biblical gender roles, male headship, women in the pastorate, etc. The interview addresses where LGBTQ outreach intersects traditional men’s ministry. The interview answers questions such as, ‘Does the Holy Spirit ever contradict God’s Word?’ and much more. Praise the Lord!

This is not a Christian podcast. Chris is a skeptical unbeliever. As is clear from his written interview summary (through the above link), Chris seeks to discredit the witness and thereby the message. We are on opposite sides of a spiritual war, so this is to be expected (1 John 5:19).

The Lord works in mysterious ways. Despite his intentions, Chris had thoroughly researched and asks deeply personal questions, drilling into great subject matter. We discuss a wide range of issues covered in my books and ministry updates. Praise the Lord!

Part 1: In addition to my ex-gay testimony against the backdrop of Scripture, we tackled what temptation is from a Biblical standpoint, the demonic role reversals that are increasingly common and have been normalized in American culture (ex. men striving to be women and vice versa, women usurping the God-given authority of the husband as heads of the home) and what it’s like to reach out the LGBTQ both in Cambodia and in the U.S. Praise the Lord!

Part 2: We delved into the church’s tendency to reject and even shoot her wounded, evangelizing the LGBTQ and a possible workaround for situations where the local church is more of a barrier than a help, the “born this way” theory that has gained wide acceptance and how Satan gains a foothold in youth.

This is a deep dive testimony. We covered the Bible’s explanation for why people feel attracted to the same sex and experience gender confusion, the church’s acceptance (or lack thereof) for ex-LGBTQ, spiritual warfare and survival tips for the soldier of Christ. Praise the Lord!

A Conversation with Joshua T Berglan & Matthew Karchner

We covered male headship, the fall of the U.S. church (operating as a business or government entity – 2 Tim 4:3-4), destructive heresies and ex-gay testimony. Praise the Lord!

The purpose of Writer’s Talk is to encourage writers that the Lord is prodding but who are hesitant to step out and write. We discussed the writing process and my testimony books. Praise the Lord!

Prior to the interview, I researched Gary’s well-known father. David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and the Switchblade and Teen Challenge founder, previously pastored a church in Philipsburg, PA, next to my hometown of Clearfield (rival high school football team). Gary said he was born in Philipsburg but only lived there for a short time. It’s a small world.

We covered ex-gay testimony, LGBTQ evangelism and Cambodia missions. Praise the Lord!

Dad & Mom testify that they went to war against Satan (Eph 6:12; 1 Pet 5:8; Rev 12:9-11) for their son in prayer and fasting and refused to budge on difficult Bible truth (2 Tim 4:3-5; Gal 1:10). The Lord came through at the 11th hour when all hope seemed lost. Praise the Lord!

Considering the unpopular nature of a ministry that calls the LGBT to repentance, I was surprised when we got an interview for Cornerstone TV’s Real Life Show. Assured that we should go ahead and come to Pittsburgh at the onset of Covid lockdowns, we drove for three hours and stayed overnight. The episode never aired. We were told it was due to Covid-related changes in programming. Nonetheless, Praise the Lord for the experience.
